This year, I went through a lot of therapy sessions, and I can't help but feel grateful for my therapist. The pain I carried was too heavy, making it hard to live and breathe.
My therapist didn't just talk; she handed me books and chapters to read, encouraging me to reflect and write. When I started putting my pain and emotions on paper, something changed within me.
Writing became a lifeline, helping me confront the hurt and untangle my emotions. The more I wrote, the lighter I felt. It was like discovering a new, stronger version of myself—one that could embrace forgiveness.
Therapy, along with reading and writing, led me on a journey of healing. It wasn't easy, but today, as I share my story, I stand taller, knowing that my pain has transformed into resilience—a reminder that healing comes from both therapy and the power of words.
There was a time when peace felt far away, tangled in hurt and anger. But everything changed when I chose to forgive. It wasn't easy, but forgiving healed me and brought real joy.
People often wonder why my words carry such emotion and strength. I tell them it's because I write with tears in my eyes. Every word comes from the deepest part of me.
I used to think being emotional was a weakness until my therapist showed me otherwise. "It's your strength, Sabrina," she said. So, I embraced it.
Forgiveness became my turning point. Letting go of grudges lifted a heavy burden and brought me peace like nothing else.
Now, when I share my story, it's not just words; it's a release. Forgiveness taught me that emotions are my power, not my weakness.
So, when asked where my strength comes from, I proudly say it's from forgiveness—from a heart that found warmth in letting go, and from embracing the power in being emotional.
