Life is a journey full of twists and turns, where nothing stays the same. Imagine standing in downtown Toronto, surrounded by thousands of lights that suddenly fade into darkness. It happened to me, and I couldn't see a way out. Tears fell, and I felt lost.

But here's the thing about life—nothing is constant. Not the good times, not the bad. In that dark moment, I learned a valuable lesson about change. The lively city I once knew became uncertain, and I felt like I was in the shadows. Yet, in that struggle, I discovered a hidden strength, a resilience that comes when we face the ups and downs.

Fast forward, and those lights in Toronto are shining again, brighter than before. This time, it's not just about the external glow of the city; it's about an inner light—a hope for a better future, especially for my daughter.

My life isn't perfect, and honestly, it's still a work in progress. But you know what? There's something beautiful in trying, in facing the messiness of life head-on. In those tough moments, I discovered a strength I didn't know I had. Now, as the city lights twinkle again, I look back at my journey. It's far from perfect, but that's okay.
